Georgia VINE Camden Coverage
Georgia VINELink is a custody-status and notification service for participating agencies. It is not a complete Camden booking archive or a court-case database. Search coverage can include county jail and state corrections feeds where those records are integrated, and the live interface is the place to verify whether a particular Camden County agency or person is currently available.
VINE is built around custody events. A matched record may permit alerts for release, transfer, or another status change. If the person has already dropped from a participating feed, the service may be less useful than the sheriff's New World inquiry. A missed result does not prove that the person was never booked or released in Camden County.
Search One Camden VINE Record
Start with the person search, not a broad assumption about county coverage. Have a full name and an agency or booking identifier when possible. Age or date information shown by VINE can help separate similar names, but only fields actually displayed by the current feed should be relied upon.
- Open VINELink and select Georgia.
- Choose the person search and enter the name or available offender ID.
- Filter by agency or facility when that option appears. Compare Camden County jail or the relevant state corrections source.
- Open the likely result and match the facility, status, identifier, and age or date details shown.
- If the record is in custody, choose the notification option when an alert is needed.
- If it shows released, note the displayed status and event time, then confirm through the sheriff or GDC.
The Georgia person-search workflow appears below. It illustrates the one-person focus rather than a general list of Camden releases.

The search screen is the starting point; identity must still be checked against agency and record details before a status is accepted.
Camden VINE Release Fields
Fields vary with the agency feed. Treat the exact labels in the result as controlling, and distinguish a VINE event from a formal release or sentence record.
| VINE field | What it can establish |
|---|---|
| Name | The subject attached to the participating record; compare other identifiers. |
| Agency or facility | The custodian supplying the status, which may be county or state. |
| Custody status | Whether the feed reports the person in custody, released, transferred, or another displayed state. |
| Offender ID or booking number | An identifier for matching VINE to sheriff or corrections records when supplied. |
| Status date or time | The feed's custody-event timing when available, not a court disposition. |
| Notification option | The route to register for future changes on that specific record. |
A released VINE result can support a prompt status check. For legal detail, obtain the Camden booking release date and read the court case. For a state prisoner, compare GDC release or discharge status and parole information.
Register Camden Release Notifications
Registration begins from the matched person record. The current interface may offer phone, text, email, TTY, or app delivery. Available methods depend on the live VINE workflow. Use contact details controlled by the registrant and do not place private phone numbers or email addresses into a public record or shared screenshot.
- Confirm the correct person, agency, and custody status.
- Select Get Notified or the equivalent action shown.
- Choose one or more offered delivery methods.
- Enter the destination and follow the verification prompt.
- Create or enter the PIN or confirmation information for phone alerts when requested.
- Complete registration and retain the confirmation needed to manage the alert.
The PIN helps confirm receipt or stop repeated phone notifications. An alert reports a feed change; it does not explain bond conditions, court outcomes, supervision, or the reason for a transfer. Those details remain with the responsible agency.
Confirm Camden VINE Alerts
For a Camden jail release, search the sheriff's New World inquiry with In Custody unchecked. Open the matching booking and find the actual Release Date. If the entry is incomplete or a formal record is needed, use the Camden sheriff records portal.
For state prison, use the GDC offender query. Its record may show state custody, release, discharge, institution, offense, conviction county, and projected-date fields. GDC instructs users to seek written verification from Inmate Records and Information when web data must be confirmed. County release and state discharge are different events.
Federal custody belongs in the BOP inmate locator. Immigration detention belongs in ICE ODLS. A Camden jail release could also be a transfer, so the local release date does not prove community release.
The full Camden County released-inmate search helps identify which custodian owns the next record. Use VINE for timely notice, then use that custodian's record for confirmation.
Camden VINE Agency Search
When a name produces too many results, the agency or facility channel can clarify whether the expected custodian participates. The Georgia agency and facility search is useful for checking the source before repeating person searches with alternate spellings or identifiers.

The agency view helps identify the feed being searched, but it does not guarantee that every historical Camden booking remains available.
If no result appears, return to New World for a local jail history, GDC for a state sentence, or the sheriff records portal for a past release. This channel-specific fallback reflects VINE's role as a notification layer rather than an archive.
VINE Versus Georgia Registry
The Georgia sex offender registry is separate from VINE. It applies only to people with a registration duty and may show community address, photograph, offense, and status fields. It is not a general released-inmate locator and cannot answer most Camden County release questions.
VINE follows participating custody records and notifications. The registry follows an independent legal registration status that can continue long after custody ends. A person may be released from Camden County Jail and have no registry record at all. Conversely, a registrant may remain listed years after the release event.
- VINE alert
- A notice tied to a custody-feed change.
- Release record
- The originating custodian's record that documents the end of its hold.
- Court disposition
- The case result, which may include dismissal, plea, sentence, or probation.
- Discharge
- Completion of a sentence or supervision term, not merely departure from jail.
Note: Record coverage and notification choices can change, so confirm the current Georgia VINE interface before relying on a registration.
When Camden VINE Finds Nothing
Start by checking spelling, name order, and any identifier. Search the agency or facility channel to see whether the expected custodian is represented. A person arrested by a city police department may still be booked into Camden County Public Safety Complex, so the arresting agency and jail custodian may not have the same name.
Next, use New World with In Custody unchecked. Search by name, subject number, booking number, or a broad booking-date range. Open the detail because a blank grid status is less useful than a completed Release Date. If the online history is missing, submit a narrow sheriff records request identifying the person and approximate dates.
If the Camden booking ended in transfer to state prison, move to GDC. Search by name first, then narrow by Camden conviction county or most recent institution when useful. A GDC record can continue after county jail custody ends and may distinguish release from discharge or parole supervision.
Federal and immigration paths remain separate. The BOP locator covers federal prison records, while ICE ODLS applies to immigration detention. Neither is a substitute for the Camden release record, and VINE's lack of a match does not decide those custody questions.
After a Camden VINE Release
A VINE release notice describes a custody-feed event. It does not state whether charges were dismissed, whether bond terms continue, or whether probation began. Camden's jail detail may show charge dispositions and a docket number, but the court record provides the durable legal history.
Use Georgia E-Access or the relevant court source to compare the name, booking date, charge, arresting agency, and docket number. Look for bond orders, accusation or indictment, plea, sentence, probation, revocation, dismissal, and final disposition. A release alert should never be read as proof that the case has closed.
For state-prison parole, compare GDC with the State Board of Pardons and Paroles. A person can leave prison and remain under parole supervision. Probation usually begins with the sentence order and may involve the Department of Community Supervision. Those are post-release statuses, not VINE custody fields.
